SOLD Mary Anita Bonner (1887-1935). Born in Bastrop Louisiana in 1887 moved to San Antonio Texas with her mother, brother and sister in 1901. She enroled in San Antonio Academy then onto University Of Texas. She spent the summer of 1922 at the Woodstock Art Colony New York and decided to devote the rest of her life to the art of Etching. She went to Paris in 1922, learnt printmaking from Edouaud Henri Leon. In 1922 she began a series of etchings of cowboys and broncos. This unsigned etching of Polo Ponies is one of only 25 examples, this being No. 2. SCARCE.
