Erica Renelt.

Erica has a lifelong love of horses and following years of experience of riding and training, it was a natural step to express that love through her equestrian sculpture where she endeavours to express the beauty, strength and particularly movement of the horse and the close relationship with the rider. Polo, with its demands for multiple talents by both horse and rider, is a wonderful source for inspiration.

At the Society of Equestrian Artists, Erica won the Top Award for Equestrian Sculpture in 1992 and again in 1996 presented by The British Sporting Art Trust.

Erica’s sculpture designs are first produced using direct bronze resin or slate resin on a steel armature, which is the basis for a limited edition, or unique sculptures finished in either resin or cast in bronze.

The Polo Player Sculpture is cast in Bronze Resin in an Edition of 15.
